This post is dedicated to the coffee house that is Café de Lambre. These guys make the best coffee in the world!
Phew chile! these guys turn the traditional methods of making coffee into an art form. My lord the coffee here is amazing. I am a tea drinker, but, if I can get the coffee these guys make and serve, you best believe I am converting, FACT! It came highly recommended by fellow guest we met at Sushi Ya . The gentleman gave us a few names for independent coffee houses and I am so glad we ended up here because it was
First off, nothing on the outside gives any indication of what you are about to experience – UNDERSTATED does not even begin to describe, but it is the oriental way of course! You walk in and you almost feel like you have stepped back in time. The retro looking art, paper clipping and time line on the walls, the coffee grinder.. it is a juxtaposition of new and old.

Let’s not forget that these guys have been in the business since 1948. Coffee making remains the same. They still make it the way it was back then – coffee beans are weighted in grams, blended, HAND DRIPPED, and then served in some fooine looking china y’all. No Styrofoam cup crap here, things are done proper!

Of course Neal was in heaven, he was spoilt for choice. I on the other hand looked at the menu and was like, nope. All I saw was coffee this, coffee that. One of the barristers asked what I would like and I explained I was not a coffee drinker and tea was more my thing. I did ask if he had any sweet coffee and this unkuu brung it! Listen, my man served me coffee called blanc et noir queen amber. This is an iced sweet coffee and OMG! This coffee is just the queen! It is served cold with a layer of milk at the top in a champagne glass! I mean come through! And it tasted sooo good!

Like I said earlier, if I could have this coffee everyday prepared and served like this, I am converting! Their secret menu had variety of coffee beans and some going back a decade, yep, 10 year old beans!

You have to have coffee here. no argument!

Alas, I could not get the blan et noir queen amber, but these guys did me a solid and served me coffee jelly, let me say that again COFFEE J E L L Y! This is the KING! It was not maybe it looked like Jelly, or was kinda like Jelly.. It was Jelly.. actually, scrap that, it was a freaking coffee desert!
